Legacy modernization.

Zero operational disruption.

The approach fails when it is built for ideal conditions and the environment is not. We built ours for the real ones.
Our Methodology

From support to modernization
to operation. The same team throughout.

Our 2F Framework moves from operational support through discovery, planning, build, and long-term optimization. The same team runs all five phases. The business keeps running throughout.

PHASE 01

Stabilize & Support

We take over operational support before any modernization begins. L1/L2/L3 coverage, defined SLAs, incident management, knowledge capture. This phase runs throughout the entire engagement.

Phase 02

Discover & Document

We recover the knowledge locked inside the system. Codebase analysis, stakeholder interviews, AI-assisted comprehension, reverse engineering, data flow mapping. The output is documented and owned by the client.

Phase 03

Strategize & Plan

We evaluate five paths against the business case: Refactor, Replatform, Rearchitect, Rebuild, Replace. The deliverable is a documented recommendation, target architecture, and phased roadmap. The specification belongs to the client.

Phase 04

Modernize & Build

Legacy components replaced incrementally while the system keeps running. API-first design, contract testing, parallel running. The business does not pause while the architecture changes.

Phase 05

Operate & Optimize

The same team that built it supports it. Managed services, continuous improvement, performance tuning. Institutional knowledge does not leave when the project closes.

Technology Depth

Built for the environments others scope out.

Most modernization partners work around legacy complexity. We work through it. Every platform below has been modernized in production, under pressure, with no operational disruption.

Our Engineering Approach

The architecture that keeps integrations intact while the transformation runs.

Modernization projects fail at the integration, not the rewrite. Legacy partners will not change their interfaces. File-based feeds, message queues, protocol translations, API facades: we build those bridges as part of the engagement.

Once those bridges are in place, the constraints that shaped the old architecture stop shaping the new one. The organization can move again.

Strangler Fig Pattern
Legacy components replaced incrementally while the system keeps running. The legacy system shrinks rather than flips. The business retains full operational continuity at every stage.
API-First Design
The integration layer is built before anything is rewritten. When a legacy partner cannot modernize its interface, we build the facade that handles the translation.
Contract Testing
Every integration point is covered by a formal contract. Breaking changes are caught in the pipeline before they reach production.
Parallel Running
New systems run alongside old ones until outputs match. The rollback path stays open throughout.
