A leading international university with campuses and operations spanning Pakistan, East Africa, and beyond. The institution operates across three distinct entities, and other globally distributed teams — each with its own stakeholders, content requirements, and regional audience.
The university's SharePoint-based website locked every content update behind a developer request cycle. The platform no longer reflected the institution's brand identity. Across 3,000-plus pages, duplication was widespread, CTAs were applied inconsistently, and there was no meaningful visibility into how the website was performing.
One Primero advised against renewing the SharePoint environment; staying on SharePoint would not solve the core problem. Storyblok was selected for its headless architecture, component-based content model, and visual editor, giving non-technical teams full editorial control without touching code.
One Primero redesigned and migrated the full web presence into Storyblok, consolidating and restructuring thousands of pages and aligning everything with the university's refreshed content strategy and brand guidelines.
Multilingual support was a non-negotiable requirement. One Primero negotiated with Storyblok directly to add custom language packs for Urdu, Swahili, and Amharic (languages not previously available on the platform).
The university's MarCom team can now publish, edit, and manage content without raising an IT request. The website reflects the institution's current brand identity. Custom language packs for Urdu, Swahili, and Amharic extend the platform's reach to its full global audience.
One Primero and the university are actively exploring expanded capabilities and new workstreams, building on the foundation established through the initial migration.
